We know for some Zoom is either a relatively foreign concept and for others feels like a necessary evil now, but it is the most  safe and effective way for our organization to meet going forward. Amy and Leanne have already sent a message to Special Interest Leaders about using Zoom and a training will be offered in the next couple weeks so leaders can learn to use the new platform and groups can meet. 

Our Programs will also be moving to Zoom. Members can register and join through Zoom on their computers or devices and even through an app on their smartphone. This is as simple as clicking on a link and you will be set. For our less tech inclined, there will be a New York phone number you can dial into from any telephone and listen so you don’t have to miss a thing and can participate screen-free.

We are all figuring out this new way to AAUW together. Some of the process has been worked out while more questions or unanticipated situations will almost certainly arise and need solutions. Please be patient with leaders- from the Board to Special Interest- as we work together on this. It is not the AAUW we are used to, but we can all make the best of it and even find some new ways to connect.
